When you find things you genuinely enjoy, don’t let anyone else make you feel bad about it. Don’t feel guilty about the pleasure you take in the things you enjoy. Celebrate them.
This is a beautiful sentiment. And when what we’re talking about is guilt because of the snobbery of the world, absolutely. Watch your trashy show. Read your pulpy novel. Live your best life. Who cares about the haters?
